What are the types of activities which require licence?
All businesses included in the following activities :-

  1.  RISKY BUSINESS PREMISE LICENCE

  2. HAWKER LICENCE

  3. ENTERTAINMENT LICENCE

  4. NON-RISKY PREMISE LICENCE

 

What are the procedures to apply for business premise licence under the risky category?

  1. Obtain the form from the Licensing Department counter.

  2. Complete the form. Attach other required documents.

  3. As soon as the form is accepted at the counter, the applicant will receive a temporary licence.

  4. The Council officers will conduct an inspection on the premise applied for.

  5. The application will be referred to the external department for the preparation of review.

  6. The application of licence will be presented in the Hawkers and Licensing Standing Committee for consideration.

  7. Applicants will be notified in writing regarding the decision of the meeting.

 

What are the procedures to apply for a business licence under the non-risky category?

  1. Obtain the form at the Licensing Department

  2. Complete the form. Attach other required documents.

  3. As soon as the form is accepted and payment made at the counter, the applicant will receive the licence immediately.
